There’s this dude (30 m) I (26 f) matched with on Tinder about four days ago for whom I’ve developed a small crush. He insists he’s trying to be respectful of my wanting to know someone a little bit before I have sex them. He also said at the beginning that he only had until tonight to get to know me because he’s moving. He hasn’t really asked for sex since asking at the beginning, but yesterday he said it was today or not for a while. I’m busy a lot of the time and need a little more notice than one day to be able to meet up with someone.
This afternoon he said he thought about the situation and doesn’t want our first time together to be sloppy and quick and that we should continue talking with the intent to maybe have sex another time. Now he texted me saying that he accidentally booked his flight for tomorrow and not tonight and wants to meet up. I asked him about his flight details for tomorrow and he took longer than usual to respond. He also said he’s not sure which city he connects in during his flight.
I’ve been a little suspicious of the circumstances surrounding our interactions from the beginning, but am wondering if I’m just being paranoid. Any thoughts on this situation would be helpful.
