I’m 28M and I had a coffee date + stroll in the park with a really nice 23F. We started talking on the dating app Hinge and had this date two days later.
When we met it was good. I was attracted to her and I really liked her vibe. We shared coffee and had a good conversation about different topics. She asked about my family and seemed genuinely interested to get to know me. When the “why Hinge?” question came up, she said she really liked meeting new people but also mentioned that she gets bored easily, regarding texting I think?
Anyway I told her I enjoy company, conversation and spending time together. I wanted her to know I’m looking for something genuine and not just a hook up.
So after about 2 and a half hours she said she needed to head off and help her friend with his history project or something. Nothing bad happened during this date but I kind of started thinking that it didn’t go well and that this was her polite way of heading off.
We started walking back to the main street and I asked her if it was okay if I walked her to her car. She said yeah sure.
While walking she said smiled and turned and said “you’re really nice by the way” and “we should do this again”. This really threw me off because I actually thought she wasn’t interested. Anyway, I walked her to her car, we hugged, suggested dinner next week and she drove off.
So I texted her the same day thanking her for coming and saying it was really nice. However she replied the next day and since then has been replying like a day late to every message I sent her.
Believe me, I don’t want to bother this girl. I can go on other dates but there was just something about her that I really like. It just seems that she has no interest in talking.
Anyway, I asked her if she wanted to do lunch this week and she said yes for Thursday. I guess I’m just confused right now, I don’t understand what this girl is doing.
