I had a pretty isolated upbringing, and now that I am turning 30 in a few months I am wondering if I should dip my toes in or just forget about finding someone. I have had 2 relationships, the first was controlling and lasted 2 years, and the second we parted ways after a few weeks because we weren't compatible beyond friendship.
Is dating all it is cracked up to be? Is it true that the dating pool in your 20's is large, but in your 30's it is more of a dating bucket? I am lost here. Everyone who knows me is surprised when they eventually find out I am not married or taken, and I'm starting to think that I am doing life wrong at this point. Anyone have starting advice or reassurance that it is not so important?
