Would you tell someone you don’t know that you found their significant other on a dating app? How would you do it?

Hello fellow dating Redditors!

An interesting query today. I (26F) am on Bumble and recently matched with a (29M). We’ve been messaging for a little under a week and have talked on the phone. Today he sent me his number and I asked for his last name. He gave it to me and, naturally, I went to find him on Facebook and saw that he’s listed as in a relationship with a girl. It listed her name and profile info and her Facebook information says the same thing. I’ve asked him about it, but even if he answers I’m obviously inclined to not believe him.

Now, I’m left wondering if I should tell this girl or not. If I were her and my boyfriend were cheating, I’d want to know and feel I owe her the courtesy (?) of telling her the truth. But, I don’t know either of them at all so should I just stay out of it?

I was going to send the girl a message on Facebook and let her know. He hasn’t sent me anything sexually explicit, but has flirted, called me beautiful, and says he’s looking for a relationship. I’ve taken photos of his profile and some of our conversations before he possibly unmatched with me, just in case.

Any advice would be appreciated!
