You haven’t asked for my advice but here I am about to give it to you anyway.
If you have issues such as PTSD, depression or anything like that. Firstly try and get professional support.
Secondly it’s vitally important to be open and honest about it with her. Not immediately but if/when things start to get serious.
My PTSD absolutely ruined my last relationship and causes so many arguments which I just continually glossed over until nine years down the line it was to much and she walked out.
My current relationship has been ongoing for about three years now and I can see how being truthful has really helped things. She knows if I’m having a rough time, she knows how to be there for me but she still kicks me into gear when I need it.
I’ve sought professional help for my issues and haven’t touched alcohol or used any other unhealthy coping mechanisms for a long time.
