So a little backstory. I(22M) and this girl (21F) have been friends for almost 2 years, I always had a crush on her but I never made a move or asked her out, so I wasnt in the so called friendzone. So a little over a month ago, she told me that she actually liked me and that I am always there for her and we hooked up, its nothing serious or anything, just casual. So one night while drunk she told me that while she is having fun with me, that she is scared she will fall in love with me and she isnt ready for stuff like that because she recently got out of a long relationship. I told her if you want we can stop this and she said no, I like how things are now. I agreed, but we talk on the phone every day, text eachother. But at the same time, we both are talking to other people, since this is nothing serious. So for christmas I was thinking of buying her a small gift, like a key chain with a picture of her holding her dog and a toy for the dog, or something similar.
What do you think? Is it weird to do that? Since we are in a kind uncertain territory right now I dont wanna ruin things and drive her away, I genuinely want to get her something small, but I dont know if it would be weird. What do you think?
