Hellooooo everyone hope you all are having a good time, so here i am (m29) i work as an art director in an advertising agency, and this girl (25f) joined us few months ago as an account executive and we just immediately caught each other’s attention
I just felt on cigarette breaks that this girl was always too interested in whatever i say, and i found her really so i just slowly started asking her to go smoke with me and she never turned me down and we just hit it offf, we would chill for hours, talk about everything and anything, started getting each other’s coffee, slowly started texting and it led to a point where she would never take a single break without asking me to join
Body Language was something different, whenever we’re together she’s fully turned to me, she’d touch me, slap my arm if i said some funny, and whenever she’d see she’d just have this big ear-to-ear smile on her face :D
We would chill after work hour literally long hours, 10PM, some days 11PM and then came a week off i was taking, and i was wondering what she’d do during it, and on my first day she immediately called me after work which led to her calling me EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. ever since, i got her a gift from my vacay and she was happy about it, everything was great, she’d show me her pictures from the weekends, she’d tell me her problems, family problems, work problems, listens closely to me if i ever complained to her, she cared about me, teased me and everything that was cool and great
We started slowly going out but it was always casual, like never a real date, suddenly once she called me after work like ‘let’s go to that coffee place?’ we went out and chilled til like 1AM, on lunch breaks she’d be let’s go get lunch? and we’d go, and i was doing the same with everything, giving her the same and even extra sometimes, i showed her that i was into her, i told her how cool i find her, and i told her how i love spending time with her and she’d say the same, there are a lot of cool details if i speak about them i won’t finish but
THE BEGINNING OF THE END: i’ll give you the sequence of events that happened last week, so in a week we went out to a comedy show on saturday, we had an hour call on sunday, monday we chilled after work for 2 hours, tuesday she had a fight with one of her accounts and i took her out for sushi and she was soooo happy that she kept thanking me many times for giving her a good time and that she needed it, wednesday she came to work regularly and after work it was the first time she doesn’t answer my texts or call me, i was like ok maybe some happened, the next day she just didn’t talk to me at all all day 🤨 i texted her ‘are you okay?’ she replied ‘sorry i just had a very bad day yesterday’
she didn’t ask me to smoke with her, chill, see her or nothing which was odd, i’d go out to smoke and i would see her chilling with everyone, i waited til they left and asked her if was okay? she kept saying something happened and she doesn’t really want to talk about it, i told her that’s ok just remember if anything that i’m here for you and will be by your side, okay? and she just disappeared for the whole weekend 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
i didn’t text her or bother cause i said maybe ya some happened with her so just give her space, next week at work i texted her and she didn’t answer, i saw her and she seemed like she was really down, i didn’t bother her with anything again i left her alone, the next day we sat and talked and she started telling me that she’s just fed up with work and having problems and she wants to take a vacation, i encouraged her to i told her you don’t seem okay i think you really need some time off, i asked her if she can chill after work that day in which she agreed to, at 6 she just left 😕
few hours later she called me ‘hey i’m sorry i left but i was just really tired’ i told her it’s okay it’s fine go take some rest, she told me she won’t come to work the next 2 days i told her okay no problem
we’d text something but it was mostly me initiating, til this week i would be the one asking her to smoke and she would agree right away, we’d go down and see really seemed happy, then she on her own just blurred to me that her parents had a very big fight and they were almost divorcing that’s why she was down last week, i told her i was happy seeing her finally happy and i gave her sunglasses as a gift (hers broke and she wanted to buy a pair for a while) and i wrote on the letter ‘you’ve been having some bad time for a while, i really hope this can cheer you up’ and she was just happpyyyyyy with it, then before yesterday we were supposed to sit down cause i had a big fight with my manger and she wanted to hear about it, she left early that day although i asked her if she can chill with me after hours, the next day she answered my text ‘hey i’m coming early to the office let’s meet then’ but i got up late that day, we were able to meet by end of day yesterday where i told her about everything and she was fine as usual, listening to me like the old days
today, i texted her in the morning, she never answered me :( til now we’re done with work and she didn’t answer me at all (it’s after 6PM where i’m from) but whenever she’d see me in a group she’d say hi, how’s your day? all good?
everyone is insisting she’s not ditching me she’s just having some bad time but i really don’t think so :( i really think whatever interest she had in me is gone now and she doesn’t really want to pursue whatever we were having anymore :( in the last 2 weeks she barely texts, ignores my texts alot, stopped calling me completely and just as you can see
tbh i’m really sad about it, i liked her alllloooottttt she was the best thing to happen to me this year, she’s super smart, fun, cute, interesting and we clicked real good together, i don’t know what to do to revive this if it’s even possible to revive it :( i don’t even know if i should confront her, i feel like i should just get her and tell how i’m sad about losing our funtime together without blaming or wanting to hear excuses, problem is we didn’t establish a relationship for me to come and ask why
but i really don’t want to lose her i hope there is anything i can do to make it work again :( what advice can you give me guys please help me out
