SO WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!!

So I have spent a LOT of time lately with this guy. I told him I really like him but he said he was just looking for friends.. Ok, I get that.. but then..

1. Why call me a few times during the work day to see how my day is going or what I’m doing? This is every day..
2. Why call me in the evenings? Sometimes once, sometimes twice, sometimes 4…
3. On weekends I’m not there to hang out with him, why are you calling me so much? One Saturday it was 8 times throughout the day and another it was like 9… and then multiple times on a Sunday
4. Why would you mention that my presence is missed when I’m not there? That it’s boring when I’m not around…
5. Why would you have me around your family? I’ve been around his mom several times..
6. Why would you bring my name up to family/friends when I’m not around? In things he says it’s clear I’m talked about when I’m not around…
7. Why would you plan a weekend getaway trip? (Our room has 2 beds - sharing a room. Nothing sexual has happened between us but still a trip away, together)
8. He teases me a lot
9. Recently, on the phone, I was there, his mom called and he jokingly said “yea I’m at home messing around. I have to give a certain person (Me) my attention because the whine and cry when they're not here to see me… I then gave him a crazy look and he laughed and said haha I do it too - 🤔
10. My Facebook page, he is constantly tagging me in posts. A lot of the post and his wording eludes people to think we are together… my phone has been blowing up because people think we are dating by what they see he is posting..

When I left his house recently at 5:30 to drive back home to my town… between the time I left and then went to bed last night he called me 4 times

Yesterday? A total of 8 calls!

Is it just me, and me overthinking but if I’m in the friend zone, isn’t this a lot of communication for someone you’re “JUST” friends with… my call log on my phone is pretty much his name… He has mentioned people hes hooked up within the past to me and I hate that. We have not been sexual or even kissed but he does say he likes spending time with me.. We are together a lot and when we are not, he is on my phone MULTIPLE times a day... Thoughts?

It’s so confusing!
