How is it a “big deal” if a girl drives her boyfriend around often?

I (M, 30) have been dating a girl (30) for about a month.

Often times when we go out, she’ll be the one driving us around... I haven’t really thought anything of it, but could this be viewed a certain way by other people? Or is there a reason why the guy “should” be the one to drive? Does it somehow change the perception of a relationship if the girl is always driving the 2 of them in her car?

Asking because she mentioned that someone asked her if I drive, which we thought was funny, because I do drive but we just always go in her car.
