So I (f21)met this great guy last week at the club. I knew him from the place where I worked when I was 16 and had a crush om him since. However, he never even looked at me and I was pretty sure he didn’t know I existed, so I forgot about him pretty quick.
Flash forward, I’ve been living in a city on the other side of the country for 2 years now and so has he. We bumped into each other at the club last week, made out and slept at my place. We cuddled all morning and he told me multiple times he didn’t want to go home because being with me felt so nice. However, all the time I was saying to myself: don’t get attached to him, this is a one time thing. To my surprise, when he was about to leave he asked for my number and told me he would text me.
He did text me later that day. I responded and he took about a day to reply. Then I responded and again, he took about a day to reply. I responded again and it’s been 1,5 day since then. He hasn’t responded since and I’m not sure if he will. The conversation was just about afternoon naps btw (yes really).
Now given the situation and the things he said to me that morning, I thought this could maybe work out and we could go on a date. But given how non-responsive he has been with texting got me so confused.
And now I’m like: f*ck it, i’m going to text him one more time and ask him out for a drink. What’s the worst thing that could happen? He could say no. So what? There are way worse things in life. And getting a response from him, even if it’s negative would actually give me closure I think. But i mean, it’s never fun to get rejected. On the other hand I’m like: oh well, I guess i’ll just leave it like this. Not pay any attention to it anymore.
What do you think I should do?
