Ive broken up with my gf of 8 months for a while now (about 2 months) and of course i still havent really gotten over it yet. The breakup was quite sudden and she said that she didn’t feel like she loved me anymore. Obviously, I was absolutely heartbroken and thought that she had another guy waiting or was seeing someone else however even after two months shes still single (but still using dating apps and such).
Since the breakup she always tried to assure me that she wanted to be friends and wanted to be on good terms, which I then also pretended to agree. Following the breakup I then tried to distance myself as to try and move on and it has worked well so far. However recently, she has tried to talk to me more and more but I still feel hurt when talking to her so I try to be brief and stuff. She kept on persisting until today she asked why I was being so distant. She said that I was making her sad and that its making her stress about what she did wrong. To be honest I dont have the heart to tell her that I dont want to talk to her and right now I dont really know what to do. I want to distance myself in order to move on completely but at the same time I dont want to be shitty to her and lose a good friend as well.
