We matched on an app almost a year ago but have previously met once a few years ago. We talked casually for a while but he never put any real effort into hanging out so we didnt hang out until recently. We started talking every day about a month ago and have hung out 3 times, twice at concerts and then i asked him to hang out and we got dinner. i kissed him and it felt really awkward. He talked to me a bunch right after that but he has been slowly backing off and texting me less and less and not responding for hours at a time. hes made no attempt to hang out again and i invited him to a concert but he never gave me an answer.I understand this means he is likely not interested. I do really enjoy talking with him and would really like us to be friends if we arent going to be more but im not sure how to approach the conversation without sounding crazy? Is it weird to ask for clarity after only hanging out 3 times? I just dont want him thinking im trying to chase him when im just trying to be friends because that is what he seems like he wants. Is it weird if i ask for clarity and if he just wants to be friends?
I’m not sure if it’s worth mentioning that he is on the spectrum..
