I’ve been dating/talking to a guy for a while now getting to know him and stuff. I liked his personality and wit at first, thought he was really great and genuine to talk to. I’ve noticed he has pretty bad hygiene… this makes me sound awful but I feel like to an extent that’s an important part of whether you’re into someone and want to stay in a relationship with them. I noticed pretty quickly he doesn’t take regular showers, and has pretty bad dandruff. Sometimes it’s so hard to ignore. He also suffers from acne although obviously I know as someone who had it before you can’t control it. But I feel like all these issues can be minimised and at least obviously taken care of. Just bc acne is Hormonal doesn’t mean there is no point in washing your face. I also find he lacks just general self care, so he is on the heavier side and always speaks a lot about how he’s going to lose weight but hasn’t done anything about it…he also has his mother do his laundry and hardly cleans up after himself. I wouldn’t even know how to bring any of this up properly to him.whenever I mentioned that his place is messy or he hasn’t followed through with anything he said he would he gets really defensive….this isn’t the first man I’ve talked to or dated who was like this and it always shocks me how bad it is the more you get to know them..do these types of men really expect women to stay with them…?
