Since I’m not desirable enough for guys I want, should I just settle for what I can get, even if I’m not fully happy?

Since years of dating have proved desirable enough to get and keep the guys I want, should I settle for guys that are more “in my league”, even if I’ll never be 100% satisfied. If it’s better than dying alone?
