30M, Went out with a girl last night, best first date ever. She hugged me as soon as she got there, we were on the same page on a lot of stuff, she even asked the taboo questions(politics, kids, religion), which again we agreed on.
We made good eye contact and smiled at each other a lot, there was definitely a connection. At the end of the date I offered to wait with her while her ride was on its way. She was getting extremely close as if she wanted to kiss, but I didn’t go for it on the fear of being to aggressive. Instead I gave her one of the best hugs I could ever remember giving someone. She said she was nervous during the date and I told her there’s nothing to be nervous about.
She then told me to text her to let her know I made it home safe. I did and told her I had a wonderful evening and to let me know when she was free again to meet.
That was last night, it’s been radio silence since then. She has a history of taking hours to respond to my text, and when she does they are enthusiastic.
Is she playing the waiting game or do you think she is not interested?
I guess I don’t get it because I’m a very direct guy that doesn’t play games, If I like you I will let you know, and I don’t consider expressing interest as needy. However, I do understand a lot of guys are not like me.
