it might be this quarantine that has me thinking like this but am i wrong or am i tripping...
So before this quarantine life started i (23f) was casually seeing this guy, we'll call him J. (24) It was going good, he informed me he has a child, she is 1, and how him and the mother were not together. I was a bit hesitant but i decided to give it a shot. There was an incident where we were hanging out and the babys mom called him non stop because he wasn't responding back to her, so she called and lied and said something was wrong with the baby so he called right away. He was arguing with her over the phone in front of me and it made me SO uncomfortable. I left and i explained to him that i wasn't into the baby momma drama and that we should stop seeing each other. He told me there was nothing going on between them, that she still wanted to be with him but he didn't feel the same way. I asked my friends for advice and they told me to keep seeing him until he proved me wrong. I should add that the town i live in, it's very odd to find a guy or girl my age with no kids. So i did, and so far it's been good, i haven't been able to see him because of Quarantine, but we text everyday and facetime as well.
- So tell me why i was on my facebook and i seen his daughter on my timeline.. TURNS OUT IM FACEBOOK FRIENDS WITH HIS BABY'S MOM AND I DIDNT EVEN KNOW. The girl went to school with me, i wasnt her friend but i knew of her.
okay so today i was on FB and i was on her page and then i seen more pictures of her and the little girl (who is a spitting image of him) and then i went to the girls mom's page (I KNOW, NOT COOL) and i seen the mom posted pictures of J and the girl and the baby in January together at a family party and it had me thinking... I cannot compare to her, they are bonded for life. What if he gets feelings for her again because they do co-parent? then what would i do?? So like am i wrong for feeling like this? should i continue seeing him?? I don't want to make it a topic of discussion because we aren't together together.. ugh.
advice is truly appreciated.
