New to dating

Okay so, I (f24) had, up until the week before quarantine kicked in, only ever been on 1 date when I was 18 and it was terrible. Since then I've been very very single and really only chatted to people on dating apps with it never going anywhere. I'm not very self confident (overweight) and never have been so dating is just not something I've ever done. However, just before quarantine kicked in over here in the UK (thanks covid) I went on a double date with my best friend, her boyfriend and one of his friends who he thought I'd get along with and would be perfect for. I was suuuper nervous on the lead up but actually the date went pretty well. He was my type, we have loads in common and he was a nice dude. Fast forward to now, we've been talking for a couple of weeks, planning a date for when we're allowed to do things again and talking about work and stuff. But now I kind of want to tell him the whole "I'm not good at dating or subtlety so, if you like me, please tell me" kind of thing but... I really don't know how to word it. It's 2am here rn so I'm not going to message him till tomorrow but all that means is my brain is going into overdrive about how to tell him that I like him but reaallly have no clue how dating works or any of that shit....

TLDR: please help, I'm a mess who doesn't know how dating works. How do I tell a guy I've met once that I like him but really can't tell how he feels or any of that soppy crap?
