Do they usually lead to anything? Is it common to be ghosted/faded on afterwards? I matched with a guy on a dating app yesterday and within a few messages he asked to FaceTime today, which I was surprised about since he barely knew anything about me. It went fine and we talked for about 30 min - wasn't really awkward or anything. Had a decent amount in common and shared a few jokes. At the end he said he had a work call to make, so we hung up, but he said it was fun and he would like to continue this. He's really attractive though so I'm not sure if he was just being polite or something lol. I'm also just used to texting and then meeting in person socially-distanced, so I've never had a virtual date before and thus don't know the protocol. But it's been about 4 hours and he hasn't texted or anything. What do you think? Am I supposed to text him or do most virtual first dates tend not to go anywhere?
