So I’ve never dated anyone before. Signed up on some dating apps but I feel like I’ll just delete them like I always do. I wish I had the option to not have the guys in my town show up (1. My job puts me in a community and I’m trying to avoid any social work ethical dilemmas. 2. I don’t like the guys in my city at least the ones that keep popping up on the apps). Maybe I’m too picky. But I’m slightly overwhelmed. Like I’ll also pass on guys who I feel are too out of my range. I know the matches won’t show unless you both match but still. And then one of my friends said people on the apps are only interested in sex (something I have no experience in).
I guess what I’m trying to ask is how to approach online dating especially as someone who never dated. I know people say do it the old fashioned way but I don’t go to places regularly for that to happen
