I (f) work 60-70 hours a week split between 2 jobs and am usually working from 10am-midnight on any given day, with one or two days/nights off a week. I'm in the early dating stages with a few guys who I really like, but it's rough having such limited availability and constantly having to negotiate both of our full/overtime work schedules just to go out for a simple meal or even hang out and watch TV.
The other week I told a guy I was only free on that saturday from until 2pm. We ended up going out to brunch and having a good time, but I still felt guilty for only being able to give him a tiny window out of my entire week. Another time, I had tentative plans to go out with someone on a weeknight, but had to cancel because my boss wanted work done late.
My question is, is it rude/unfair to be actively looking for dates when you know you're barely available? I feel bad responding to 'likes' and getting close to people when I know I only have two free nights week, max.
