I know if may seem a bit lame, or perhaps even a little pathetic, but I sometimes like to come here just to read the good stuff that's been going on in other people's lives when it comes to dating, especially when things aren't going great on my end. Don't get me wrong, the advice given here is great too (most of the time), but not everything goes according to plan.
So reading the story of the guy who finally built the courage to ask out the cute barista and she said yes, or of the girl that finally decided to ignore regular dating tropes and asked out the guy she likes in college...it just makes everything feel alright, even for a while. I suppose you could say that it gives me...hope? I don't know. Sorry for the rambling. But I just thought I should share a different way I enjoy this sub, and wondered if I was the only one. Thanks for reading.
