Should being engaged before be a dealbreaker?

Harsh question I know, but hear me out.

Would this put you off? Especially if the person involved was the “dumpee”?

If it’s not an outright deal-breaker then how long post engagement / dumping should you be waiting to date them?

Asking as I fear I may have gotten in too deep with a girl who will never get over an ex fiancé.
