To preface, we (me 31/M, her 28/F) both started dating recently and we're both researchers (in different fields) and we have a really strong sexual relationship. Sometimes she will say something that I find really insightful, and since I'm attracted to that, I'll make a genuine comment about how I find her to be sexy when she's smart. I'm worried about sexually objectifying her intelligence and I want her to feel smart. I have every intention of asking her how she feels about this but I want to field the question here first.
How do you feel when a guy you're dating does this to you? What things do guys do that make you feel smart?
