Before corona hit the US. I was non-exclusive with an awesome girl. Shes super emotionally intelligent and kind and very supportive. When Corona hit, she was gonna stay where she was, but I had to move back across the country. Before I left we were planning to spend a bunch of time together in the summer (I thought pandemic would be over by then and I could come back) and she mentioned doing stuff in September as well. The only reason we didn't try to date exclusively was because I met her 4 days after she got out of a long term relationship. We were seeing eachother for a few months before I left, but we lost contact over the summer for legitimate reasons. I wanna restart stuff with her and also maybe start dating her if she's down, so how do I ask her? Obviously, it would be best if it could develop naturally, but thats kind of hard right now.
