I met this girl a little while back and I immediately had this attraction with her. We were in the same online class, so I got her number from that class group and I texted her.
She was very nice with me and I started to flirt a little more. I sent messages about how pretty and hot she looks in her IG pics. And, she was flattered by it and started sending me photos of her and asking how she looks. As always, I complemented her about her looks.
Sometimes, she has a bad day and text me about it. And, I would be as supportive as possible for her and usually she replied with love emojis and how much she loves me for that. Then, she started to call me babe/dear, and I went om with with bcs at this point I thought we both were attracted to each other since we're flirting.
But, that was not it. One day, she asked for a help on an assignment, as usual I was glad to help her with it. Then, she sent me I love you with a kiss emoji and a heart. And proceeded with you're the best friend I had.
I was so turned off by it and I didn't replied to her as much as usually do. Then, she started asking me If I was mad at her. I told her I was and how much it was a turn off for me since we've flirted so much earlier.
Then, the shocking statement came. She asked me when did I flirt with her. I told her that I thought it was pretty obvious since I always send messages to her that I'm attracted to her and she did the same way.
At this point, I was so confused. What do girls really think flirting is? Is it supposed to be sexual messages to each other? Do I need to show my sexual desires on her? What is even considered flirting nowadays?
