It sucks, but ghosting happens. Usually I can tell if ghosting/fading will occur based on the outcome of the dates and texting but this one came out of the blue. I went on two dates with this one girl. First date was great. We met for drinks, spent 5 hours together and she texted me saying we have to do this again! Second date even better. Went to an early dinner, went to a bar and stayed out til close. 8+ hours together. I walked her home, we made out, and she texted me the next morning saying "I haven't had that much fun in a while, are you free Saturday to meet up again". I was out of town last weekend so we decided to meet up this weekend. We were texting non-stop and there was no sign of interest being lost. Out of the blue a few days ago the conversation just stopped. Sent another text and silence.
I decided to reach out again yesterday night saying "Hey weather is looking great for Saturday! Should I try to get an outdoor spot for dinner tomorrow?". Again, radio silence. I know she's ok and got the message since she viewed my insta story this morning.
I'm just frustrated and honestly just confused. I was so excited to see her tomorrow. Was looking forward to it all week. We're both almost 30 and honestly just surprised this happened. Part of me really just wants to get closure and ask "What's up? What changed?". I know it's not worth it and I probably won't. No answer is an answer. But sheesh, this was almost like switch just flipped. I totally didn't expect to see this one coming. Definitely stings because I wanted this one to work out. It was only two dates but you know when you just know a connection just clicks? It's not forced and it feels great. That was how I felt. Anyone have any cases like this?
