Someone I used to date would only refer to me as hot and sexy or occasionally as pretty. For the FIRST TIME EVER this guy (totally unprompted) said I have a beautiful face. Then he said my eyes, lips and hair are very nice. For the entire almost year we dated he never called me beautiful or went into the specifics. Could he have possibly felt too vulnerable to say that in the past? I know people have debated the differences in hot, pretty, sexy, beautiful etc so I’m curious I guess!
