It's silly to begin to think that we're back to 100%. Numbers rise and fall every day, and businesses, locales open and close with a variety of changes made. This isn't to critique anyone or anything, but to of course pull at the string (that keeps on growing...) of how hard it is to meet people or go on dates, now. I mean, it was hard before, but now you have to question so much before getting out the door or, say, going online. Where should I go? What should I look for? How strongly do I want someone on the same ethical playing field as me? Etc.
Lately, I've taken to going onto VRChat, spending my time as some sort of dragon thing, and that's been nice for flirting if you're into that sort of thing. I'm in graduate school, so I'm pretty much forced to be reading or working a lot of my free time. While I'd love to meet someone, I feel like I'm left with Long-Distance flings because of my time online and at home. Meeting folks in person feels...tricky.
How are folks handling the dating scene right now? Do folks recommend finding someone online at the moment, particularly when folks like me are teaching and working from home? Has anyone found a way to make something work?
