Hello. I (13M) have a crush on this girl (13 or 14F?). I want to ask her out, but she is very shy, and seems kind of scared of me. I am very big and muscular, 165lbs, about 5'7 or 5'8, and I am talkative with a deep voice. I am probably a head taller than this girl. I have talked to this girl a bit, we have short conversations now and then, and we exchange looks at each other in class. On that note, I have seen her staring at me a LOT. She either looks at my face, or looks at my arms, and then looks away as fast as possible. The problem is, she seems to be quite shy, especially to me when we talk. I want to let her know that I want to talk to her more and get closer to her, but she is shy and I am worried she is afraid of me, therefore meaning she is nervous/uncomfortable. She often gets very quiet around me, even when her best friends are near (whom she is very talkative to when I'm not around). She seems as if she is very focused and deliberate when talking to me, and she is very jittery in her seat. She sits beside me in class. She plays with her hair so much that it seems as if she does more of that than actual work. She just does the classic twirling with her finger in front of her. So, in summary, I like a shy girl, who is probably scared of me to some degree, and I want to make her feel more comfortable to soon ask her out. Any ideas?
