So I'm an 18 year old guy and I honestly want to meet someone sooner or later to go out with but I am socially at a really bad place. Now I do like anime, video games and such but i am really insecure about myself and always pretty anxious to approach anyone considering the people I see whenever I go out. I live in the netherlands and I can't say I connect well with a lot of people in my town and apart from the regular bullying I've faced (it's over now). I don't really know how to approach someone or even having the guts (idk a better term for it) to engage in a conversation.
I have a friend who has offered after the crisis to be a wingman but should I take him up on it or not I'm just in confusion about that one.
