So, i’ve been talking to this guy for an entire year now, we met on tinder (at the time i was really on tinder just to meet new people, i don’t even have any pics on there, just a meme of walter the dog, but i have my @ linked so i can actually see who i’m texting, what gear ppl are up to exc) we share memes, we talk lots, we laugh and SOMETIMES we flirt, but it’s usually just him initiating things because i’m very closed off when it comes to feeling and stuff. He’s always kinda hinted at us meeting irl, but never in a pressing manner, nothing that would make me uncomfortable really. ohhh i forgot to mention that i’m 18 this year, and he’s 21.
So recently he’s asked me to go out, specifically asked me if we wanted to go out platonically or to just call it a date (at that i told him i’m not yet ready for anything so we can just hang out and get a feel of how things are) The thing is, because of covid and all the restrictions, i couldn’t leave my hometown, and we can’t just sit down at a park to talk, but meeting your “boyfriend” at his house is allowed (lol don’t ask) I know i’m safe, i’ve been tested, and i know he is as well because he’s gotten the vaccine. But he’s invited me at his house... This is literally my first “date” and i do trust this guy, he’s always been kind to me, hes never made a weird comment about me, he’s never made me feel uncomfortable. I know he lives w his parents, and this isn’t really a date, we’re just hanging out. Do you guys think he expects anything of me? I’ve read other posts and it seems to be the recurring answer to this kind of question. I do also kind of like him, and i would like to see where things goes. What do you guys think? (sorry for any mistakes! English is not my first language)
