So after getting out of a toxic situation last year I've asked out a coworker who I've had a crush on for awhile. She accepted and we got some dinner and talked. The problem is she is really really shy so I'm unable to read exactly how it with with her. While there was definitely some awkward moments throughout, I thought overall it went okay. I texted her that night letting her know I had a good night and would love to go out again soon. She responded the morning after saying she really enjoyed the time last night and would love if we went out again. While she is really shy I noticed she seemed to loosen up a bit when talking about movies (particularly action movies). So I invited her out this weekend to a drive in movie theater, but unfortunately she worked late and couldn't accept, but said next week would be fine and even asked me which movie I preferred and said she would by dinner this time (I paid for the first date), to which I accepted.
I guess I'm just curious how I should proceed? After the first date I get this vibe that she's opened up just a little bit more based on how she has responded to my text, which is great! I'm not really much of a texter though but I'm assuming I shouldn't wait until next weekend to text her to confirm the date? Should I try to schedule something sooner or since she is really on the shy side would that feel kinda pushy?
