I’m (25M) come from a middle eastern background (no dating experience whatsoever) i moved to a different country around a couple years ago but haven’t really been actively looking for a partner because adjusting to a new country is a lot. Anyhow i started getting more out there the last few months but haven’t really met anyone that i particularly was interested in enough to get to know (I’m Bi idk if that’s important). Anyways i met this guy (23M) online and we started chatting and immediately I could feel this connection and we ended up talking tor hours. He was really sweet and attentive and i saw myself actually being interested in this person. We ended up meeting later that day and we had our fun (iykyk) i don’t regret it but afterwards i straight up asked if he would be willing in exploring this further and he said yes and we even chose a day to meet later this week and actually go on a date-ish.
What actually happened is it was a holiday weekend so he was not as responsive over text as he was before (barely a couple texts back a day) and i was fine with that because it’s a holiday but then on the day before we’re supposed to go out he said he’ll let me know if he can go out because “his work asked him to pick up a shift” and then he never texted me back. I also asked a couple times to face time and have a chat but he kinda ignored that request and answered with something else :)
I don’t wanna say or do something too impulsive because it’s actually the first time in so long I actually liked someone but doesn’t he seem….not interested? I’m so torn on how to move forward. I don’t wanna ruin it before it can start(?) please help🙃
