Okay so I’m (25f) and idk if my friend (25m) likes me or not. We have been friends for 3 years now. It’s very complicated. We are friends but we don’t call each other friends? Like we don’t have a label or anything. We talk to each other 2-3 times a week because we’re both very busy in work and stuff.
But whenever we talk, we talk for hours and it feels like we talk everyday like the energy is always there from both sides. Mostly it’s always just random things about life. Sometimes he texts me and sometimes I text him.
He always helps me with things, listens to me and everything and I recently realized nobody understands me more than him and I have started to like him and now I’m thinking if he likes me or just friendly with me. Few months ago he told me that he liked a girl or something and now that I asked him again he said he lied and that he has no crush. I was a little happy from inside because he’s single lol but at the same time I’m confused.
I think he gave me few hints back then that he likes me but I was too dumb to understand and now I’m completely lost. He jokes a lot with me, his love language is roasting me in a cute way sometimes and he takes my career very seriously. He’s always like always giving me advice about my career and guiding me in these things.
I mean every time I need something, he’s always there but now I want to know if he’s doing all that because he likes me or just because we’re friends? And why would he lie about his crush with me? I still don’t get it. Please help how do I figure out if he likes me or not?
