I'm currently on a business trip. I met a guy here on the same trip. We hit it off immediately and I asked him out for drinks the night before he left. We got drinks and stayed until the restaurant closed before walking back to our rooms. We sat outside his room until 1:30am before we moved inside. We didn't kiss or have sex but ended up getting in his bed and cuddling while talking. He initiated the cuddling but I never got the vibe that he was trying to kiss or have sex with me so I just enjoyed his company. We fell asleep around 3am and stayed in each others' arms until we woke up. The entire night was amazing and we clicked so well, had so much in common, and really had a connection. He was so comfortable with me, even having me unlock his phone and set a timer. I went back to my room in the morning so we could both get ready for work but I didn't see him at work before he left for the airport. He texted me that he was potentially coming back later on during this project and I would see him then. I texted him today just to check in and see how he was but no response. Maybe he's just busy but I can't help but feel like he's ignoring me. He never really picked up/ looked at his phone when we were together at work and never even looked at it while we were together on our date so maybe he's not big into using his phone. But now I'm making excuses for him. He was just so comfortable with me after only knowing me for 2 days that I can't help but question if you would cuddle with someone on the first date if you weren't truly interested in seeing them again... Just looking for some advice on next steps
