My boyfriend, or my ex boyfriend now has ghosted me after I told him that I lost my job. I haven't heard from him in days. I've given him an out to get out of the relationship. All of my messages are unread so far. I called him on the day that I lost my job to get some support and he did not call me back. Only texted back that he was sorry. I'm not really sure what happened and I'm struggling to process everything right now. He makes way more then me btw so it wasn't a situation where he was relying on me. I know he's under a lot of stress right now from his work so he probably doesn't want to deal with me anymore. But still...he could have said something.
To make matters worse, I called my old job (that I left after getting fired from the last one) and they said that they were willing to bring me back in but I have not heard back after emailing. So I got ghosted twice. Why is this type of flakiness even okay in a professional setting?
I need advice on how to cope with all of these emotions. I feel like the rug has been pulled out underneath me. I haven't really left my bed in almost a week.
