I (28F) recently had some work done on my house, and one of the guys (26?M) helping out has been incredible. I honestly can’t tell if he’s just being friendly/professional or if there’s any actual interest there. One day while he was working, he struck up a lot of conversation with me and we ended up laughing and talking for a while. It felt really easy and natural, not forced. He’s been back a few times since, but I still can’t tell if I’m reading into it or if there’s something there. I find him really attractive, and he’s been kind and funny every time I’ve interacted with him. The only thing is… he’s literally working on my house, so I don’t want to make things awkward or misinterpret his friendliness as flirting. Also yes, the “?” by his age is because I never actually asked how old he is lol, but he’s definitely around my age.
I also feel like it’s so rare to meet someone “in the wild” these days, and I don’t want to miss an opportunity if there is something there.
Would it be weird/inappropriate to ask him out? Or should I just leave it alone and not risk making things uncomfortable? HELP
