Asked girl at uni out, she said yes, but when i set up date, she wants to meet as friends

We are both early 20s

Yes I know I'm in the friendzone so why am I posting this question? Because I set up a date for tomorrow and she basically friendzoned me, and I don't know how to proceed. I don't want to ghost/cancel tomorrow because i see her everyday, and honestly i think it's a cowardly move. On the other hand, I have to be honest with my feelings and don't want to just be friends with her. I don't know her well at all, so I guess she had to suggest the meeting as friends/or that i'm not good enough in her eyes as a date.

So how do I approach this situation? She wrote "jimmamlvnnnn I thought it would be more casual, like taking a walk as friends...:("
