Like the title says, I'm into this girl and I think she is into me. My female friend (let's call her Amanda) is my roommates on and off "Girlfriend" who I've kind of taken in as almost a little sister. She had her birthday at our place, and on that day she brought her friend (I'll call her Jane). I had met Jane through her previously, but it was only in passing, but on that day I was kind of feeling her.
I typically show my interest by teasing and joking/ alternating between acting suave and then like a manic goofball. When I was doing this with her she would play along and I found that she would sit by me and such. I'd even catch her looking at me when I wasn't looking (she'd look down quickly when I caught her). We had this game go on throughout the party and at one point i had to leave she said she wanted to go "instead of sitting with the chaos" (she didn't end up coming, I had to walk pretty far in the cold to my parking spot).
The next day I had gotten back from the gym and was in the shower when i heard voices outside in the living room. When I got out I walked into the living room and Amanda and Jane where there eating some more of the cake (we have an open door for Amanda so its not uncommon for me to walk out and her be there.) I went out and started teasing Jane again and she played along again. At one point I left to my room to do something and minute later Jane opens my door asking me how the remote works so she could watch a movie. I help her and then leave (had to eat), and when i return she is still there with Amanda, but leaves around 10 so she can wake up for the gym in the morning.
That was around a week ago and I've been kicking myself for not grabbing her number either of those days or today (I ran into her while grabbing food on campus and just made a joke and walked away). I would really like to take her out, but tbh I'm scared to come off as weak or needy by asking Amanda to give her my number. I'm sure ill run into her again, but with college the semester keeps on shrinking and i don't want to miss out on an opportunity to possibly get closer to Jane. What would y'all recommend?

Edit: Jane made references both days to an ex. She basically mentioned twice that her ex (one time she referred to him as her boyfriend, one time as an ex) saying he cheated on her. I don't believe she is currently seeing him, but i'm not 100% sure.
