We are dating, but not a couple. We have kissed a couple times. Would it be ok to ask to french kiss?

We have been friends for about 4 months and dating about 1 month. I am pretty new to the whole relationship thing, after all this is the closest I ever been to a woman. I really want to get more intimate with her, but I don’t want to make her feel uncomfortable. Please help.
