Hey everyone, looking for some objective perspective on a situation that has completely stalled out over the last 48 hours.
I’ve been seeing this girl for about a month and we’ve been on 6 dates. Things moved pretty fast and got fairly intimate early on. Around Date 4/5, I had a night out with a mate, got way too drunk and ended up sending her a text dropping the "I love you" bomb. She admittedly cringed at it because it was so early, but we talked it out. Date 5 actually went really well after that, more intimacy and over the following week we started talking a lot more on the phone, she was wearing my clothes out, etc.
Then came Date 6 a few days ago and the vibe completely flipped. She went totally cold. She put up major physical boundaries, no PDA, refused a hug when we met and said no kissing because she had split her lip a couple of days prior. At the end of the night, we didn’t do our usual "was a lovely night goodnight" texts.
The next day, she ghosted me for about 9 hours straight. To break the silence, I text her late that night while out at a bar with my mate. I admitted I was super drunk again. I sent a video from the venue and she replied sharply, accusing me of being "too close" to other girls in the video. Later that night (around 3 AM), a bad situation kicked off with the guy I was out with, he was being predatory toward women and I had to physically intervene and drag him out before the police got involved. I text her a play-by-play of the drama at 3 AM. She was completely turned off, text me an annoyed emoji telling me to go to sleep and we haven't spoken at all today.
An important piece of context, she is actually moving to a different city for university/work in about 10 days. We had tentatively left a final "Date 7" up in the air for this coming Friday to say goodbye, but given the total radio silence today, I feel like she’s completely checked out.
Should I just match her silence and let it go, or is it worth sending one final text before Friday to see where we stand?
