throwaway acc. i (21f) was already a little bit interested after chatting to him (23m) on the first day of a college camp; at night during one of the activities he had an adverse reaction to something so i went to check up on him with two friends about 30mins later and he briefly mentioned that he was in a talking stage but didn’t talk about any details.
the next night we spent a long time talking about moral rights/wrongs in dating patterns in a tv show we both liked, and he let me do my makeup on him (i’m talking super pink, glittery makeup). then we moved and sat outside on the concrete and he set up his speaker to play and talk about artists we both liked listening to, as well as our cultural background. at some point someone had gotten really drunk and fell over right next to us so i went and helped, and someone walked by and asked if his butt hurt from sitting on the ground for so long and he said yes but he had never asked us to move to the common room five feet away that had carpet, sofas, and chairs. a couple hours earlier i had asked for his instagram and he definitely gave me a private/second account and i checked around and saw his main had been deactivated (assumedly to focus on his degree)
my question is this: is it wrong for me to still like him and chat to him if i think i might have a chance knowing that he is in a talking stage? and do i actually have a chance or am i being completely delusional because it’s been a couple days since then and he hasn’t interacted with any instagram stories or notes. i might just be insane (context i’ve never been in a relationship or talking stage or anything like that so im feeling very out of my depth here).
