Matched with this guy on tinder 3 weeks back. We have tons of mutual friends, similar jobs, same sense of humor, etc. We’ve had two amazing dates- both times we ended the night kissing and talking afterwords (good, solid, deep conversation). I’ve told him and he’s told me that we’re both into each other.
We text a good amount, but sometimes he takes awhile to respond. He’s said from the beginning he’s a “bad texter”. I’ve been clingy in past relationships and don’t wait to mess this one up.
We didn’t hang out this weekend because of covid and thanksgiving, but he said he wants to go out after the holiday.
I really don’t want to be that girl that blows up his phone. I know it’s totally okay if I go a day or two without talking to him, especially this early in this “relationship”
It may be my (mild) anxiety, but I’m just constantly thinking about him and feel like I’m holding myself back from texting him 24/7. I also really like him. Keeping myself busy kind of works, but eventually I get bored and my mind goes back to him.
What do you guys do to get out of this funk and let things play their course slowly?
