Background: we both work together but work different schedules and our schedules can change week to week. I’m 22M and she’s 32F
I would start work when she would finish work and I’d usually see her in dispatch and we’d talk like small talk. You know “hey how’s it goin” stuff like that. The last Night of my week was Thursday since I work Sunday through Thursday at like 21:30. I seen her parking the tractor go talk to her and she’s on phone with another guy but hung with him and as soon as she did I asked her for her number I got it. The next morning when I got off work I called her and she answered hinted at maybe going to dinner at a really nice steakhouse and I was just tired didn’t trust myself to wake up but we made plans to fish Saturday or Sunday. I went fishing to find a spot that had fish so she would catch something the first time she went. Then grandma tested positive for covid and I was out of work for 3 weeks(I live with my grandma). The whole time I was quarantined we played video games shareplayed on ps4. We talked everyday for like hours at a time. I started to text her good morning beautiful everyday but worded it differently everyday. She told me she lives by herself has a king size bed. She would text me sometimes as she would fall asleep and I would call her tell her how sweet and soft her voice is. I mean I fell head over heels for her. I really thought we had something going. I came back to work on what would have been my fourth week off and she saw me and we talked and I called her. During quarantine she’d always call me back. But that week I came back she just stopped calling me back. I was worried more than anything. I actually cried over this girl twice. We haven’t talked on the phone or even texted aside from happy thanksgiving texts. I just really though we were both falling for each other. I’m trying to stay positive cause I really want it to work between us and give her the benefit of the doubt but I have nice guy syndrome.
