"But what if nothing comes of it?" "Its been a long day, I'm sure she doesn't want to talk anyway" "I'll never see her again, what's the point of starting a conversation?" You try to tell yourself these things to justify not talking to that cute girl in line at the restaurant, but you still regret it. Who cares if nothing comes of it? You never know, maybe something will. At the very least you practice small talk and maybe even put a smile on her face. Maybe you'll see her again tomorrow and pick up the conversation again. Instead you complain to yourself that you're shy and still single. It's been said time and time again because it's TRUE! You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Why am I being so specific? Because this same thing happened today. Just talk to them, get over your shyness and strike up a conversation...maybe you'll get lucky!
TL;DR send it! Who cares if nothing comes of it! Talk to that person next to you in line, or on the bus, or whatever!
