One of the fastest ways to make a girl lose interest in you is to talk about yourself and your life constantly but not ask about hers. I can’t tell you how many guys I stopped talking to because he would only talk about himself. By the end of the conversation, it felt like I knew everything there was to know about him while I had just kind of... responded to whatever he was telling me with halfhearted enthusiasm because I didn’t know what else to say when we had been talking about his life exclusively for a 50+ message conversation.
You don’t need to talk yourself up. If she’s talking to you, chances are there’s already something about you that sparked her interest.
Of course, if it’s the opposite problem where a girl only talks about herself and never asks about you, feel free to drop her too. Relationships are heavily dependent on mutual communication and respect.
But I feel like this is a really common problem with dating apps in particular. I know plenty of girls who lose interest in a guy because he only talks about himself.
This is NOT meant to hurt feelings or upset anyone. I know that sometimes it’s hard to find something to talk about. Just... check yourself every so often and make sure the conversation is a two-way street, not just you delivering a monologue about your life.
