I've been doing some OLD recently, and one thing has been sticking out for me -- and, I realized it was an even bigger deal for me when it's someone I meet online versus in person. Chivalry!
- Walk her to her car (as long as she feels comfortable for you to do so). Don't just walk her to the garage/parking lot/etc, take her to the car. ESPECIALLY IF IT'S NIGHT!
- Ask before kissing her (of course, this depends on the person and situation, but it's always sweet when someone asks)
- Ask her to text you when she gets home safe
- Hold her jacket so that she can slip her arms through the holes to put it on
- Do little things to show you really care about people, not necessarily her, and are willing to go the extra mile.
I think that a lot of men forget or don't realize how much safety is important on a date -- but, that also extends to the moments after the date. Having her text you that she's safe at home shows care and a protective nature that women crave.
