How can I tell my mom that I'm going to see someone and may be sleeping there tonight in this day and age with covid? (She's a bit freak about it)

So I'm 21 and live with my mom and we are still in the second wave of covid although The number of cases are slightly going down. I've been talking to this girl over the past week and she invited me this weekend to go to her place, I know not the best thing to do with the covid situation going on, and I understand why my mom is freaking about covid and that she doesn't want me to have it cause it would affect my health etc. But at the same time she's always questioning where I'm going with who etc. And yeah idk for once I'd like to see someone knew (I've never seen the girl) but I do know it is at my risk, without really making my mom freak out
