I am afraid to get cheated on again and I think it’s affecting my girlfriend of 4 months. I’ve been cheated on before and now with my girlfriend I have now I’m pretty cautious and I think my girlfriend realizes, and she feels bad that I feel worried about things like that and she doesn’t want me to feel that way, she knows my ex cheated on me through texts and she has even told me for reassurance I could look in her phone if I felt the desire . I don’t want to continue with these thoughts but it’s hard. My girlfriend is very supportive, she makes time to see me, talks to me everyday and overall compliments me and lets me know she appreciates me for me. I don’t want to lose a good woman due to my fears and anxieties. I need advice or support on how I can put the past of getting cheated on behind me and live more freely without worry with my current girlfriend. She hasn’t done anything to make me feel she has cheated or will, so it’s unfair to her and I need to improve before I push her away. What is my best way to go about this?
