She texted back, shortly after, telling me that she was at a basketball game and she couldn't talk at the moment (which is fine). I responded with something along the lines of "oh cool! No worries then. Once the weekend gets closer, we'll figure out what we want to do" "have fun!" And she replied with "thanks sounds good".
we've been on 4 dates and she asked me out on the fifth. Everything is going great, to the point that I'm not even counting them anymore. But I was wondering. Did I give her the cold shoulder by cutting the conversation short? How would you interpret my answer? I believe that spending time with friends is sacred and it'd be rude of me to continue texting someone if they are in the middle of something. What do you guys think?
